01 / Research scope
Materials for laboratory research.
Modern Research Labs offers research materials for lawful laboratory research, analytical testing, assay development, method validation, and related scientific activities, as described in our Research Use Only policy.
These materials are not offered for human consumption, veterinary use, medical treatment, diagnosis, or therapeutic use. Our published policies also exclude cosmetic, food, and household uses inconsistent with the research-only designation.
Laboratory supplies and accessories should be reviewed according to their own product descriptions. A storage or organization accessory is distinct from a research compound.
Product information and scientific references are provided for research reference. They are not medical advice, dosing guidance, or regulatory approval for an application.

Eligibility and lawful use.
Our existing Terms of Service require purchasers to be at least 21, legally permitted to purchase the products, and truthful in the information they provide. Customers are responsible for lawful purchasing, handling, and use, and for protecting their account credentials.
The Terms and Research Use Only policy reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or restrict accounts in the circumstances they describe, including prohibited-use representations, misleading information, and attempts to bypass eligibility or security controls.
The Terms of Service also address indemnification for claims and expenses arising from violations of the Terms, product misuse, or violations of applicable law. Review the full provision for its scope.

Start with the product and batch.
Product pages and the documentation index provide access to available records, including Certificates of Analysis (COAs). Supporting information may vary by product, manufacturer, or production batch.
- Match the product identity and any batch or lot details to the relevant document.
- Read the results and methods stated in that document; do not assume a result applies to every batch or product.
- If a record is missing or unclear, contact support with the product name and available lot or order details.
A COA is a record of reported analytical results. It does not establish suitability for human or veterinary use or authorize a use prohibited by our policies.

Orders are subject to acceptance and payment approval under the Terms of Service. Product availability, prices, and inventory may change.
The Shipping Policy explains processing cutoffs, shipping methods, delivery estimates, package protection, and address requirements. The Return & Refund Policy describes eligible requests, exclusions, time limits, and supporting information. Contact support before returning a product.

Understand how information is used.
Our Privacy Policy explains the information collected for accounts, orders, website operation, and customer support, along with information sharing, retention, and available privacy requests. Our Cookie Policy explains cookies and how browser settings may affect site functions.
Please do not include payment-card details or sensitive health information in support messages.
